Hated Space

Hated Space is currently ON HOLD with a small demo partially completed but missing core gameplay mechanics. Once Purgatory is released to early access, and if it sells well, then Hated Space will be developed alongside continued development of Purgatory.

Hated Space is best described as Heat Signature meets Diablo. It is a pixel-art space-strategy action-roguelike adventure-sandbox. It is heavily inspired by gritty Science Fantasy settings such as:

Warhammer 40k, Starcraft, Star Wars, Mass Effect, Stellaris etc.

What you do:

You adventure around a procedurally generated universe being confronted by Events:

The choices you make have direct effects on the fate of the universe. You can collect and use a plethora of different items:

These will help you to fight on foot inside ships, or on planets or space stations. You can also pilot the ships to take the battle to the next level!

The gameplay is inspired by a few games (if you haven't played these I highly suggest you check them out):

Heat Signature, Starsector, Streets of Rogue, Reigns, FTL
